Ariel: I’ve been tying the Egan, but from a photo only. I’ve developed a variant that might be of interest. Instead of the dubbed body I simply have used Antron Tread wrapped up to the eyes. I would like to have your recipe for the “rusty orange egan’s headstand” fly.

I’m looking to start fishing for carp this summer as they are everywhere and the rest of the fish are not biting, do to the high summer heat.
