The pond fishing is better in this part anyhow does anyone have some information on any cold rivers to catch some fish,particualarly searching out to find some flying carp,a few other guys have hooked some great numbers the last month.

Looks like I might get to go to Davis, CA for a week for work next spring/summer… I know you were out kind of that direction last summer, so if I end up going that way, I might have to hit you up for some advice on the area…

That may be the best costume I’ve ever seen…

I don’t think that’s a river carpsucker. If it is, it’s a pretty big one…

I would also say it’s a regular grass carp, just kind of yellowish… They do come that way on occasion.

The other option would be a common/grass carp hybrid, but I don’t think that’s the case.

haaa thanks Ed, can only imagine the puns…

Grass carp was my first thought too… but I just haven’t seen them that gold before. Could be… I really am not sure. It looked exactly like the commons in the same pond system, but just without the barbels. Maybe some experts will weigh in
