Ugliest Fish Ever Nominee?
Why is it that carp always take the heat for being ugly?
Check out the LIPS on that kisser... pucker up.
I mean really, where do I even start with this one?? I thought I was looking at fish brains when it would come up from the depths… Turns out it was just on the surface though. No idea what the white/red patch is, any ideas? Worked like a bullseye for me while sight fishing in the muddy water though.
Can’t get past those LIPS. Kind of reminds me of those old ladies that have had one-to-many lip injections.

could be a secondary infection induced from the stresses of spawning. Could also be cause from spawning itself; I’ve seen plenty of kitties/bullheads that have worn themselves raw while in the act.
