I like your style. I'm an Okie transplant stuck in NW AR. But I'm all about catching "rough" fish. Carp (commons, grassers, you name it), gar, whatever... I've caught at least 7 or 8 gar this year (in 3 trips, which weren't entirely focused on gar). If you're willing to travel to far eastern OK, we can meet up and try for some gar. If not, I know a place in Oklahoma County that has a bunch of gar in it too (my friend Husky in OKC is currently trying to catch a gar too, to no avail so far). I also know a place down by Comanche that's full of gar.
